The Roots Gathering is a micro festival, celebrating the magical and mythical memories of this ancient land.
Kept small, secure and personal and with lots of activities for the whole family to experience. A mixture of wood fair and music festival, we have a craft village where you can learn lots of new skills to take home.
In the Bushcraft woods a whole team of experts will share their knowledge with all ages.
Also a dedicated kids marquee with a creative team on hand, so from toddlers to teens there will be lots to make and play.

Things kick off on the Friday at 2pm with some gentle workshops before a fabulous evening of music with Luna Velvet headlining.

Saturday is our “green” day with more of a focus on alternative living such as natural beekeeping, herbal first aid, dance and voice workshops. In the afternoon there is a community drum circle followed by a night of traditional music and a Ceilidh so bring those dancing shoes !

Sunday is our “traditional” day, with talks on folklore, dowsing, Celtic history, incense making and aromatherapy. Then to finish, a Morris “dance off” and “hunting the Green man” for the kids.

Ticket price is only £75 per adult for the weekend, or day tickets are £25 per adult.
Children under 16 are free, camping (including campervans, caravans and motor homes) is free, there is also a “weekend meal deal” to save you money and the stress of cooking !

All set in the beautiful grounds of the Hole park estate, Rolvenden, Kent
What better way to kick off the Summer !
